AccroNex Hackathon

Code of conduct

Everyone builds. Nobody is made to feel small.

AccroNex is for every student of the University of Vavuniya. We expect participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, volunteers and organisers to treat each other with respect for the whole event, including online spaces and social media.

Expected

  • Be welcoming to people of every faculty, year, gender, ethnicity, religion, language and ability.
  • Compete on the work. Help other teams when asked; never sabotage.
  • Respect the venue, the equipment and the quiet areas.
  • Look after yourself and your teammates through the day.

Not tolerated

  • Harassment, intimidation, discrimination or unwelcome attention of any kind.
  • Offensive language or imagery, including in project content and presentations.
  • Recording or photographing people who have asked not to be.
  • Alcohol or drugs on the premises.

Reporting

Speak to any coordinator wearing a staff lanyard, or write to support@accronautobot.com. Reports are handled confidentially by the organising lead and a faculty representative. Consequences range from a warning to removal from the event and future editions.
